Lyreco Goodness Charity Dinner 2025

Lyreco Goodness Charity Dinner 2025: An Evening of Giving Back

On Thursday, 16th October 2025, we hosted the annual Lyreco Charity Dinner at the Wroxeter Hotel in Wroxeter, Shropshire – filled with live performers, Casino fun, balloon art, and special performances from the Children of Lyreco. This year, we celebrated the outstanding work of three charity partners: Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, and Lyreco for Education.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, donated, or sponsored the event, we raised an astonishing £36,828, which will directly benefit these vital causes.

Each year, as part of our Lyreco Goodness initiative, we partner with charities that share our vision of positively impacting society. These partnerships empower our employees and stakeholders to give back to the communities we serve. Whether it’s supporting cancer patients, aiding lifesaving services in Ireland, or promoting access to education in developing countries, our charity partners make a real difference where it’s needed most.

Guests were welcomed with drinks, along with a balloon artist adding a touch of fun as guests arrived, creating colourful balloon accessories for everyone to enjoy.

After the success of last year’s raffle, it made a popular return, featuring incredible prizes kindly donated by Energizer, Northwood Hygiene, Allied Hygiene, Nespresso, Newell, Amcor, and Xerox. Congratulations to all the lucky winners, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part.

This year, the spotlight shone on some very special performers – the Children of Lyreco. Following a call for entries earlier in the year, a number of talented young performers joined us at the dinner to showcase their skills, including singing, poetry, and guitar performances. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity within the Lyreco family and made for some truly heartwarming moments.

Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, accompanied by music from local talent Callum Doignie, a finalist from The Voice UK 2023, who returned following his popular performance last year. Callum was joined by Mar Salinas, representing Lyreco for Education, and other musical guests, including Managing Director Michael Milward and our Children of Lyreco performers. The tables also featured hand-made origami centre pieces, made by Lyreco’s own Head of Sustainability, Andrew Bryers.

Adding to the evening’s excitement were the Casino tables, where guests could try their luck at Blackjack and Roulette using fun chips provided on arrival. The photobooth also proved a hit, capturing memories from a night filled with laughter and generosity.

It was a night filled with warmth, connection, and entertainment, thoroughly enjoyed by all while raising funds for causes close to our hearts. The Lyreco Goodness Charity Dinner continues to be a highlight of our annual calendar, and we look forward to continuing our mission alongside our incredible charity partners.

A special thank you goes to Nestlé Confectionery and Neimans for donating gifts for the children, and to our event sponsors — Maidens, Energizer, Dams, and Fellowes — for their invaluable support.

Together, we raised over £36,000 for our charity partners:

  • Lyreco for Education
  • Lingen Davies Cancer Fund
  • Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation

It was another incredible evening that showcased the true spirit of Lyreco Goodness — community, kindness, and making a difference together.
