Lyreco is proud to be a member of the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF), the leading association for the Personal Protective Equipment Industry. The BSIF federation was created to meet the Safe Supply Accreditation demand and raise industry standards. This qualification strengthens our position in selling PPE and solidifies our expertise in this area.

With a focus to offer even more environmentally preferable products to you, our protective equipment products see an introduction to our ‘General Handing Gloves Range’. The exciting addition of the Deltaplus VE733 Glove is a great example of just that! Not only are the gloves environmentally preferable, they have also been made using pure natural latex which has been tested as REACH compliant, meaning the product has been made using the best materials and the manufacture is respectful of the environment.

Another great new addition to our general handing gloves range are the Vitality Unigloves. They have been produced with a special InnoScent coating on which provides the user and patient with a subtle citrus or peppermint aroma. Not only this, these gloves have a Microfilm inner coating which contains a combination of natural moisturisers which helps protect and nourish the skin whilst wearing.

We have also expanded our Safety eyewear range in the 2020 Lyreco catalogue. One of the key new lines in the range are  the Bollé Iluka Llupsi Safety Spectacles. They are thin, light and ultra-enveloping, the ILUKA glasses are suitable for narrow faces. Its thin co-injected temples provide optimal support throughout the day and will easily fit under a protective helmet, perfect for any industrial environment. The Deltaplus Helium Blue Blacker Safety Spectacles are another new addition to our eye protection range. These spectacles filter out 65% of blue light which protects against harmful radiation from VDU usage. These glasses are also anti scratch, anti-mist and have UV400 protection, perfect and suitable to be worn all day.

2020 sees an increase in our Hearing Protection range; the Moldex 7800 Spark Earplugs are a great new product we have recently bought in. These comfortable PU foam earplugs are suited to protect against long-term exposure with the SNR attenuation of 35dB. Another great new product we have introduced to our Hearing and protection range is the Honeywell Howard Leight Blissom 303L refills. They are ideal for medium to high noise environments with a tapered bullet-shape design making them easier to roll-down and insert while adapting more evenly to the shape of your ear canal.

The 3M X series Wireless Communication Accessory is an exciting innovative product perfectly designed for communicating in noisy environments while keeping your ears protected. With the noise-cancelling microphone and Bluetooth wireless technology, this communication accessory enables you to connect to your smart phone, helping you to stay connected with excellent protection. For noisy environments, combine them with the X Series Earmuffs.

2020 also sees an increase to our safety footwear range. The Rockfall Pro-man102 Omaha Shoe is a brand new addition for 2020 built for both purpose and comfort; with a penetration resistant midsole, safety toe cap and a padded tongue & collar ensuring your feet have the right support.

We have introduced new product ranges into our Occupational Footwear range. One of the key lines now available are  the Crocs Bistro occupational footwear range. They are comfortable and made with but not limited to food service, hospitality and health care workers in mind. They feature Crocs Lock ™ slip-resistant tread, a contoured foot bed for comfort, Croslite ™ material heel strap for a secure fit and of course, are easy to clean and quick to dry.

Finally, we are delighted to have introduced the Leo Workwear High Visibility Class 2 Maternity Polos; specifically designed to make life at work for pregnant women safer and easier. Another great new product addition from Leo Workwear is the High Visibility Modesty Tunic with an elastic button loop for ease of putting on and taking off.
