The Power of Tailored Spill Response Training
When it comes to spill response training, many organisations look for one course, kit, certificate and ultimately, one general procedure. The reality though is very different scenario.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ answer to whether a spill is an incident or an emergency. Many variables must be considered including what has been spilt, the volume, the location, and the conditions.
That is a key principle of the spill awareness training delivered in partnership with Ecospill via Lyreco Intersafe. Effective spill training should reflect your site, your risks, and your responsibilities.
What tailored spill awareness training looks like
Through our collaboration with Ecospill, Lyreco Intersafe delivers spill awareness training that aligns with:
- Your site layout
- Your stored liquids
- Your regulatory obligations
- Your containment infrastructure
- Your workforce competency level
Our approach focuses on impact, risk assessment, response, recovery, and review. Spill response must be integrated into wider resilience planning, not isolated from it.
